Taurasi DOCG Riserva Radici is a red wine from Mastroberardino. It shows a deep ruby colour, with aromas of ripe dark berry fruit, spicy notes and a light earthy touch. On the palate it is full and structured, with firm but well-integrated tannins, supporting acidity and a persistent, savoury finish. It is suggested with roasted meats, braised game, aged cheeses, mushroom dishes and rich sauces. A brief decanting and serving at around 16-18 C are recommended. It may also be cellared for further ageing.
