Teacher's Highland Cream is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 43% in a 175cl bottle. William Teacher began selling whisky in Glasgow in the 1830s, and the blend was trademarked in 1884.
It holds a high proportion of malt, about 45% single malt. The backbone is the fully peated Highland single malt of Ardmore, supported by roughly 30 other single malts.
The nose combines vanilla, peat smoke and a soft buttery richness. The palate is lightly saline, with butterscotch, honey, baked apple and smoke, then cinnamon and ginger. The finish is medium, with molasses, cream and gentle ash.
