This is a Teaninich from 1972, 23 years old and bottled at a cask strength of 64.8% in a 20cl bottle. It comes from the Rare Malts Selection, a Diageo series of cask-strength releases created to show off some of the lesser known whiskies in the group.
The casks in the series were chosen from what were considered some of the best in the company's warehouses. The series has since been discontinued.
