A single cask Teaninich distilled in 1983 and bottled at 23 years old, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It comes from one butt, which gave 640 bottles, and is released under the First Cask name.
Teaninich is a Highland distillery built in 1817 by the estate owner and Napoleonic war veteran Captain Hugh Munro. Much of its spirit has traditionally gone into blends, which makes a single cask bottling of it a less common thing to find.
