Teaninich 2008 is an 11 year old Highland single malt, bottled by Elixir Distillers for its Single Malts of Scotland series in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled in 2008 and matured in a single refill hogshead, then bottled in August 2020 at a cask strength of 60.4%. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered, and 313 bottles were produced.
The nose is freshly cut hay, juniper berries and elderflower drizzle cake. On the palate there are butterscotch sauce, muscovado syrup and tangy grapefruit, and the finish brings maple syrup, heather honey and yoghurt-covered cranberries.
