Tedeschi Lucchine Valpolicella DOC Classico

A red wine from the Valpolicella region in Veneto, Italy, made mainly from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, with a small proportion of other native grapes. The vines grow on alluvial soils rich in limestone. It shows a bright ruby colour, with aromas of fresh cherry, berries and light spice reminiscent of cinnamon and black pepper. The palate is soft and balanced, with pleasant acidity and finely woven tannins, medium body and good persistence. It pairs well with light starters, white meat, pasta with meat sauces and fresh or semi-aged cheeses.
