Teeling Blackpitts is a peated single malt Irish whiskey from the Teeling Distillery in Dublin, bottled at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is matured in barrels that previously held bourbon.
The peat brings a gentle smokiness, alongside caramel and vanilla on the palate. It is made from malted barley, water and yeast.
The nose is typically described as toasted oak, honey and subtle spices. It can be drunk neat or with a splash of water.
