This is the fourth bottling in the Teeling Renaissance series, an 18 year old Irish single malt bottled at 46% without chill filtration. It was released in an outturn of 9,000 bottles.
The whiskey spent over 16 years in ex-Bourbon barrels before a finish in ex-red Pineau des Charentes fortified wine casks. That finish brings pressed grape and candied dried fruit, with apricot and pineapple character.
