This is a single malt Irish whiskey from Teeling, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It has matured in five different cask types: sherry, port, white wine, Cabernet Sauvignon and Madeira.
Teeling opened the first new distillery in Dublin in over 125 years. The family has been making whiskey since 1782.
The nose offers melon, figs, toffee and a hint of citrus. On the palate there is a balanced mix of dried fruit, citrus, vanilla and spice, and the finish brings dry tannins from the casks.
