Teeling – Single Malt Irish Whiskey (75cl, 46%)

Teeling Single Malt is an Irish single malt made from 100% malted barley, drawn from whiskeys of different ages, including malt distilled in 1991. It is the third release in the Teeling Premium range and carries no age statement. The whiskey is a vatting of malts finished in five different wine casks: Sherry, Port, Madeira, White Burgundy and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is bottled at 46% without chill filtration. The nose is vibrant, with melon, figs, toffee and lemon. The palate mixes dried fruit, citrus, vanilla, spice and cloves, and the long finish pairs sweetness with dry tannins from the wood.
