Teeling Single Malt is an Irish single malt bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration. It brings together whiskeys of different ages, including some from 1991.
The maturation draws on an unusually wide range of casks: red wine casks that held Cabernet Sauvignon, white wine casks from Burgundy, and casks that previously held sherry, port and madeira.
The colour is golden. The nose is lively, with melon, fig, toffee and lemon. On the palate there is a balanced mix of spice, caramel, vanilla and citrus.
