This is a single cask Irish single malt from Teeling in Dublin, distilled in May 2016 and finished in a single ruby port cask for over six years. It is bottled at a cask strength of 58.4% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The whiskey is made from malted barley, triple-distilled, and is non-chill-filtered with no added colour.
The nose is dark fruit, cherry and stewed berries, with chocolate, toffee, baking spice and toasted oak. On the palate come candied fruit, red berries, cranberry, vanilla and clove, with a port-driven sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with dark fruit, chocolate and toasted oak.
