Teeling Single Malt Tequila Cask is an Irish single malt from the Teeling Whiskey Company of Dublin, selected exclusively for California. It is distilled from 100% malted barley, matured in traditional oak and then finished in ex-tequila casks.
It is bottled at 50% and non-chill filtered. The tequila finish is described as herbal, citrusy and slightly earthy.
The nose has lime zest, green agave and white pepper over orchard fruit and light vanilla. The palate is creamy and zesty, with honey, tropical fruit, roasted pineapple and a touch of vegetal spice. The finish is crisp and dry, with lingering citrus and soft oak.
