Teeling Small Batch is a blended Irish whiskey from Teeling Distillery in Dublin, bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle and non-chill filtered.
It combines malted and unmalted barley whiskeys, triple distilled and first matured in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for up to 12 months in Central American rum casks.
The nose brings molasses, caramel, vanilla, dried fruit and baking spices, with cinnamon and allspice over light oak. The palate is creamy, with vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, raisin and apricot, and a tingle of spice. The finish is long and smooth, with spice and sweetness in balance and a gentle drying oak note.
