This is Teeling Small Batch, an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, in a case. It is made in small batches and matured in casks that previously held bourbon and rum. The colour is amber with golden highlights.
The nose has dried fruit, vanilla and a subtle touch of green apple, with a light spiciness. The palate is soft and pleasantly oily, with caramel, sweet spice and a little chocolate. The finish is long and warm, with vanilla returning and an echo of toasted wood.
