Teeling Small Batch Rum Cask Finish is an Irish blend of malt and grain whiskeys from Teeling in Dublin. It was first aged in ex-Bourbon barrels.
It then spent up to a further 12 months in casks that previously held Central American rum. It was bottled at 46% without chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers cut grass, orange blossom, allspice, vanilla, apple pie and blackberries. On the palate there is rose petal jelly, lemon curd, creamy vanilla, dried herbs and cinnamon. The finish is floral and herbal, with caramel on the tail.
