Teerenpeli 14 Year Old is a Finnish single malt made from local Finnish malted barley and matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks. It was released in January 2023 as part of the celebrations for the distillery's twentieth anniversary, in an edition of 970 bottles, and at that point it was the oldest single malt the distillery had released.
It is bottled at 54.9% in a 50cl bottle, without chill filtration or added colour.
The nose is fresh apples and creamy blossom honey, with soft vanilla and oak spice. The palate balances sweetness and spice: caramelised apple, mild pepper and a hint of cinnamon, with a spiced apple pie character. The finish is long and gentle, recalling apple pie.
