This Teerenpeli is a Finnish single malt matured for ten years in a first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead, cask 06112015A. It was distilled on 6 November 2015 and bottled for Best Dram on 10 September 2026 at cask strength, 58.5%, without chill-filtration or added colour. The cask gave 260 bottles, and the whisky has a mahogany tone.
The nose is led by ripe plums and raisins, with sweet buttery pastry, creamy vanilla, light wood and gentle spice. The palate is full and powerful with a dense, velvety texture: dark chocolate, raisins and other dried fruit, malt and spicy wood. The finish is long and intense, spicy with strong coffee notes, oak and toasted tones.
