Teerenpeli – Akte 11 Year Old Amarone Cask Whisky Trilogy Part 3 (50cl, 54.9%)

Akte is an 11 year old Finnish single malt from the Teerenpeli distillery in Lahti, bottled at 54.9% in a 50cl bottle. It is the third part of the Amarone Cask Whisky Trilogy and takes its name from the Sami god of the waters. The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and was then finished in Amarone wine casks. It is bottled without chill filtration or added colouring. The nose offers ripe blackberries and a little caramel. The palate has creamy fudge and dry red wine. The finish is long and malty, with soft caramel notes.
