Teerenpeli – Kaski Sherry Cask (50cl, 43%)

Teerenpeli Kaski Sherry Cask is a Finnish single malt in a 50cl bottle at 43%, with natural colour. It comes from the Teerenpeli distillery, founded in Lahti in 2002, which works with Finnish barley and Salpausselkä groundwater filtered through glacial gravel. The name Kaski refers to traditional slash-and-burn clearing, a symbol of fertility and of transformation by fire. The whisky is matured in upcycled sea containers, where the wide temperature swings of the Finnish climate increase the exchange between spirit and wood.
