Teerenpeli – Soidin Sherry Matured (70cl, 40%)

Teerenpeli Soidin is a double-distilled Finnish single malt, bottled by the distillery at 40% and first released in October 2025. It matures entirely in a combination of former Oloroso and PX sherry casks. The casks rest in re-used sea containers on the distillery grounds, so the Finnish climate and its temperature swings act on the whisky. It is made from Finnish malted barley and groundwater from the Salpausselkä region. The nose is sweet and fruity, led by raisins. The palate is soft, fruity and raisiny sweet, and the finish stays fruity for a long time with a subtle note of tar.
