Templeton 10 Year Old Single Barrel is a straight rye whiskey bottled at 52% in a 750ml bottle. It was aged for ten years in new charred American oak and drawn from a single barrel, with each bottle hand-labelled and numbered with its barrel.
The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley, distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and bottled non-chill-filtered for Templeton Rye Spirits. It won Double Gold at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Rye grain and caramel lead, with cinnamon, clove and dill through the middle. Vanilla and toasted wood from the oak follow, ending in a long, peppery finish.
