Templeton 4 Year Old is a rye whiskey aged in charred new oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
When Prohibition outlawed alcohol in 1920, residents of a small town in Iowa carried on making a rye known as Templeton Rye, or "The Good Stuff". This bottle follows the original Prohibition-era Kerkhoff recipe, and it is described as finishing smooth.
