Templeton Hidden Stash 15 Year is a straight rye whiskey from the Hidden Stash Collection, matured for fifteen years in American oak. It is Limited Release No. 02, with an outturn of 3,000 bottles, bottled at 111 proof (55.5%) in a 750ml bottle.
The whiskey was distilled in Indiana and bottled by Templeton Rye Spirits in Iowa.
The nose brings toasted oak, vanilla, caramel, rye grain, clove and dried fruit. The palate is bold and structured, with rye spice, dark caramel, baking spice, dried orchard fruit and a touch of leather. The finish is long, warming and led by oak.
