Templeton Rye 4 Year Original is a four-year-old rye whiskey in a 750ml bottle, built on a rye recipe from Prohibition-era Iowa.
It has a deep amber colour, with caramel and butterscotch sweetness set against the natural spice of the rye. The body is slightly chewy.
The nose is dry and grassy, with rye spice. On the palate come caramel, butterscotch, toffee and allspice, leading to a clean, balanced and silky finish.
