Tenjaku Whisky

Tenjaku is a Japanese whisky made in the city of Fuefuki, in the eastern part of the Kofu Basin in Yamanashi, on the land surrounding Mount Fuji. It is made with natural spring water from the Misaka mountain range, drawn from 250 metres below the surface and filtered through porous volcanic rock. This water is credited with giving the whisky its minerality and a well balanced character. Tenjaku is written with the Japanese characters for the skylark, or Hibari, a songbird.
