Tenjaku (70cl, 40%)

Tenjaku is a Japanese blended whisky made from malt and grain whiskies, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made in Fuefuki, in Yamanashi Prefecture, a region renowned as Japan's top area for peaches and grapes. It is described as crisp and mild, with a light, mellow flavour. It can be served on the rocks, as a highball, or mizuwari style with water. The nose has a faint smoky accent with a sweet aroma of pear and dried fruit. The palate is well rounded and mellow, and the finish is long and slightly spicy, with a hint of white oak.
