Tenuta Rapitala Maritari Syrah Sicilia DOC BIO

A Sicilian red wine made from Syrah by Tenuta Rapitala. The grapes come from vineyards trained in the traditional Guyot system in western Sicily, harvested between August and September, with maceration on the skins for 7-10 days and ageing only in stainless steel. In the glass it is a vivid ruby red with violet reflections. The nose has blackberry and currant with spicy notes. On the palate it is soft, clean, fresh and balanced. It pairs with red meats, white meat roasts and aged cheeses, and also with ethnic dishes such as couscous and curry-based recipes.
