A reposado tequila from Cenote, distilled from blue agave selected in Jalisco, Mexico. It rests for some months in American oak casks, developing an amber colour and aromas of vanilla, chocolate, cooked fruit, black pepper and a light herbaceous agave note. The palate is soft but robust, with initial sweetness evolving into more complex flavours and a persistent, warm, spicy finish. It can be sipped neat or used in refined cocktails.
