The Art of the Blend Release 01 is a limited edition blended malt Scotch whisky, put together by the blender Max McFarlane. It is bottled at 50% ABV.
The whisky was matured entirely in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose has rich dried fruits, toasted almonds and spiced orange peel. On the palate there are sherry-soaked raisins, dark chocolate and warming oak. The finish is long, smooth and nutty, with hints of cinnamon and clove.
