The Balvenie 12 Year Old Double Wood is a single malt bottled at 40% abv in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matures first in ex-bourbon casks and then in ex-sherry casks, which brings spicy oak, vanilla and fruity sherry notes.
Gold in colour, it has a fruity nose of orange, dried fruit, vanilla and sweet honey. The palate is very soft, with toasted nuts, honey, oak, spice and sherry. The finish is long, spicy and fruity.
