The Balvenie 12 Years Toasted Oak American Oak is a Speyside single malt aged for twelve years.
It is matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in toasted virgin oak barrels, a pairing described as giving a fruitier, sweeter taste.
It is also called Sweet Toast American Oak, and it won Bronze at the IWSC in 2020 and Double Gold at the John Barleycorn Awards in 2019.
