The Balvenie – 14 Year Old Stories The Week of Peat (70cl, 48.3%)

A 14 year old single malt from The Balvenie, bottled at 48.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is part of the Balvenie Stories series and is named after the distillery's first Week of Peat in 2002. That week saw peated malt handled at the distillery for the first time, from barley grown by a local farmer and peated in the malting kiln. The whisky's story is told through the people involved: the former Distillery Manager Ian Millar, Maltman Robbie Gormley, Mashman Brian Webster, Malt Master David Stewart and Warehouse Coordinator George Paterson.
