The Balvenie 19 Year Old The Edge of Burnhead Wood (70cl)

The Balvenie 19 Year Old The Edge of Burnhead Wood is a Speyside single malt from the Balvenie Stories series, in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled from barley grown locally around Dufftown. The barley is malted and dried on site over local heather, which gives light notes of smoke, and local water is used throughout the process. On the palate it is described as honeyed, with spice and dried fruit and a fresh touch of lemon. The finish brings dried flowers and fine wood.
