This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from The Balvenie, part of the 1931 Collection and a limited edition created with the artist Daniel Arsham under Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie. It is bottled at 47.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is made entirely from barley malted on the distillery's own floor in Dufftown, where the grain is turned by hand. The whisky was matured in American oak and finished in ex-sherry European oak butts from Jerez.
On the nose are warm biscuit, green malt and orange peel. The palate offers honeyed toffee, barley sugar, crystallised ginger, raisin and aromatic oak, and the finish is rich and gently spiced.
