The Balvenie 21 Year Old The Second Red Rose is a single malt finished in Australian Shiraz casks. It is described as an elegant dram, full of fresh, ripe fruit and delicate spice.
The release draws on the story of David C Stewart and the creation of two red roses. That story was inspired by the history of Balvenie castle, by supporters wanting a distillery exclusive, and by the romance of making a new whisky.
