This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt from The Balvenie, part of its 'A Collection of Curious Casks' range, in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in French Pineau casks. The Pineau adds dried fruit and a delicate sweetness.
It is described as having orchard fruits, honeyed oak and a little spice.
