A 14 year old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from The Balvenie, bottled at 43% (86 proof) in a 750ml bottle. After 14 years in traditional oak whisky casks, it is moved into casks that previously held Caribbean rum for finishing.
The finish adds tropical sweetness to the distillery's honeyed character. Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE oversaw its creation.
The nose is sweet honey, ripe fruit, vanilla and hints of coconut. The palate brings creamy toffee, brown sugar, warm spices and subtle tropical fruit, and the finish is smooth and lingering, with soft oak, vanilla and gentle spice.
