The Balvenie – Single Barrel 15 Year Old Sherry Cask (70cl)

A single malt from The Balvenie, matured for no less than 15 years in a single European oak sherry butt and sold in a 70cl bottle. Single Barrel means the whisky is drawn from one cask of one maturation. Each vigorously toasted Oloroso sherry butt gives close to 800 bottles. The nose is dried fruit with a delicate nuttiness. On the palate it is rich, with oak and a lively zest, and the finish is long and sherried.
