The Balvenie – Single Barrel 15 Year Old Sherry Cask (70cl)

This Balvenie single malt is aged for at least 15 years in one European oak sherry butt, and each bottling is drawn from that single cask. The Oloroso butts are heavily toasted, and each one yields close to 800 bottles. The nose is dried fruit with a light, delicate nuttiness. On the palate it is rich, with oak and an unfussy zest, leading to a long finish with sherry character.
