The Balvenie The Creation of a Classic is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was created as a tribute to malt master David Stewart, who has worked for the company for 57 years.
The whisky matured in American oak casks and was then moved into sherry casks to finish.
The colour is gold. The nose is spicy, with tea, clove, malt and earthy notes. The palate offers oak, caramel and oats, warming and spicy. The finish is long and rather dry, with fine sherry notes.
