The Balvenie The Week of Peat is a 14-year-old Speyside single malt from the Stories range. It began as an idea from Ian Miller, who wanted to make a peated Balvenie. Peated barley was distilled at the distillery and the whisky was then matured in casks for 14 years.
The nose is delicate, with peat, vanilla and honey. The palate is balanced, with citrus, vanilla and peat smoke, and the finish is long and smoky.
