This is a 1966-vintage single malt from The Balvenie, released as part of the Vintage Cask series. It was matured for more than 30 years in cask 1895.
The Balvenie distillery stands in Speyside, next door to Glenfiddich, and has been producing malt since 1893. It is one of the few distilleries with its own malt floors, and it grows barley on the neighbouring land.
