The Smoky Ten is a 10 year old Speyside single malt from The BenRiach, in a 70cl bottle with a box.
It is made by combining unpeated and peated spirit. The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks, casks that previously held Jamaican rum, and toasted oak casks. The colour is golden with amber glints.
The nose brings ripe fruit, smoky honey and a little oak. The palate is rich and of pleasing intensity, with a long persistence and a lightly sweet, smoky close.
