The Brisbane Malt Whisky by Adelphi (70cl, 57.5%)

The Brisbane is a blended malt from Adelphi, bottled at 57.5% in a 70cl bottle. It combines Scotch malt whisky with malt whisky from Starward Distillery in Australia. The name honours Sir Thomas Makdougall Brisbane (1773-1860), a Scottish soldier and astronomer who became Governor of New South Wales in 1821. During his five years in Australia he pushed for better living conditions, built the Parramatta observatory and founded the community that grew into the city of Brisbane.
