The Dalmore 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select is a Highland single malt bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle.
It is matured first in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in casks from three cooperages in Jerez de la Frontera. These are seasoned with a blend of aged Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez wines, which gives the malt twice the sherry influence of the standard Dalmore 12 Year Old.
The nose offers caramelised orange, ginger and sultanas laced with honey. On the palate are dark chocolate and crushed almonds with a dusting of cinnamon, and the finish brings sweet mango, panna cotta and lemon sponge cake.
