The Dalmore 14 Year Old Pedro Ximénez Cask Finish is a Highland single malt bottled at 43.8% in a 75cl bottle. It is the first in the distillery's Principal Collection to be finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The whisky matured for 14 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then moved into hand-selected PX sherry casks from González Byass in Jerez, Spain, under Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass.
The nose offers dark chocolate, fig and orange oil, followed by plum, raisin, cinnamon and roasted coffee on the palate. The finish is long and warming, with lingering PX sweetness.
