A 15 year old single malt from The Dalmore, distilled in 2009 and released as a limited edition in the Vintage Collection.
It was matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks and enhanced with hand-selected Matusalem Sherry and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks. Only a handful of casks from that one year were chosen, and the whisky is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
The nose offers milk chocolate, caramel, mandarin and cracked black pepper. On the palate there is Manuka honey, sweet cacao, poached apples and golden sultanas, and the finish brings vanilla cream, chocolate brioche, Navelina orange and light cinnamon warmth.
