The Dalmore 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt from Alness, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
It spends its first twelve years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. The whisky is then divided equally among three sherry casks, Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem Oloroso from González Byass, for a further three years, before being married together in a sherry butt.
The nose brings orange marmalade, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate there are mandarin, vanilla, ginger and crushed apples, and the finish offers caramelised orange and rich dark chocolate.
