The Dalmore 25 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled at 42% in a 75cl bottle.
It was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, aged Tawny Port pipes and 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks from the González Byass bodega. This wood is reserved for The Dalmore's Principal Collection, first released in 2013.
Tasting notes describe exotic fruits, citrus, vanilla pods, treacle toffee and fig cake on the nose. The palate brings Madagascan vanilla pods, thick treacle toffee and chocolate truffles, and the finish has maple syrup, dark chocolate and spiced gingerbread.
